Website Client Support

THE COMPANY

Small online marketing team, working with small and medium businesses around Australia.

THE POSITION

  • Responsible for the technical support in setup and deployment of new and existing website and email services.
  • Consult with clients and other team members to understand the nature of key technical issues to identify, analyze, document and implement solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness and service quality for clients.
  • Managing SEO projects, and direct other staff on the implementation of SEO tasks.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver Project tasks of SEO and Site launch for internal and external clients to ensure courteous, timely, and effective completion of work, meeting or exceeding current service levels agreements to users, including timeframes.
  • Provide technical support to clients on email, newsletters, CMS and domain name management.
  • Document and deliver basic training for clients on daily use of email, newsletters, CMS.
  • Be proactive in recommending changes to Service Delivery policies, procedures, technology, and training to improve effectiveness, efficiency and service quality.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Good working technical knowledge of Networks, MS Office suite, smartphones, DNS and domain registration process.
  • Experience in using a CMS for web content changes.
  • Intermediate knowledge of DNS/MX records, email Client setup.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong personal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Understanding of Blackberry or Iphone setup of email/contacts/calendar sync with Google Apps or MS Exchange desirable.
  • Graphic design or html/css skills are an advantage.
  • 1-2 years experience in PC or Website support or development environment desirable.
  • IT qualifications desirable.
